Xplorelink is thrilled to announce the acquisition of the Kyzylaktas License (14), a 75 sq. km area strategically located in the Northern Balkhash district of Kazakhstan. This acquisition highlights our continued commitment to exploring the immense mineral potential of this region.
Why Kyzylaktas?
The Kyzylaktas project offers a unique blend of geological features, making it an exceptional target for exploration:
Extensive Gossans: Large, kilometer-scale oxidized zones indicative of potential copper and gold mineralization.
Secondary Quartzites and Argillic Alteration: These features, known as lithocaps, are hallmarks of uneroded porphyry systems.
Magnetite-Hematite Veins and Stockworks: Suggesting potential for high-value IOCG (Iron Oxide Copper Gold) mineralization.
Why Kazakhstan?
Kazakhstan continues to be one of the world’s most promising regions for large-scale gold and copper discoveries. Its untapped resources, supported by historical datasets and favorable geological settings, position the country as a key focus for global mining investments. Xplorelink’s latest acquisitions align with this vision, showcasing our ability to identify and secure high-potential projects in a mining-friendly environment.
The Roadmap Ahead
Our exploration efforts at Kyzylaktas will commence in 2025 with a comprehensive program including detailed prospecting, mapping, and geochemical sampling. By 2027, we aim to conduct at least 5,000 meters of diamond drilling to depths of 500 meters, unlocking the full potential of this promising site.
